Kirk Booher is the Founder and Managing Principal of Logan Pass Capital.  In addition to over 20 years of real estate investment, management and structured finance experience, he grew up in the construction and real estate development business.  "When I was 12-years old I began working every summer at my father's construction and electrical contracting businesses, and I continued to do so until I graduated from college.  I gained tremendous insight into real estate investing, as well as construction, from this amazing experience."

Booher has worked at Heller Financial (1996-2001), Merrill Lynch Capital (2001-2007) and he founded and directed BB&T Real Estate Funding (2007-2017).  "I have been very fortunate to have gained extensive experience with two of the best middle market bridge/mezz lenders in a variety of credit and origination roles.  The training and growth opportunities were second to none.  I left Merrill Lynch Capital in 2007 with the dream of starting my own lending platform.  I teamed up with Collateral Real Estate Capital to found Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, which was later acquired by BB&T Bank and re-branded BB&T Real Estate Funding.

Booher has been directly involved in originating over $3 billion of bridge and mezzanine loans over the course of his career and has acquired dozens of commercial and residential properties for the Logan Pass portfolio.
