What is Logan Pass Capital?
Logan Pass Capital is a family owned company seeking superior risk-adjusted returns investing in commercial and residential real estate. We take a patient approach, seeking to invest in high quality opportunities with a long-term mindset. We often take a contrarian approach, applying strategies that benefit from market dislocation or by identifying markets or asset classes that we believe have strong long term value creation potential. We seek a blend of current income and capital appreciation, but are highly focused on capital protection, often with low to no leverage on our investments.
What is Logan Pass?
This is the question I've been asked most often. Logan Pass (elevation 6,646 feet) is located along the Continental Divide in Glacier National Park in northwest Montana. It is the highest point on Going-to-the-Sun Road. It is a favorite vacation destination for my wife, our two sons, and our now expanding family who have been blessed to visit there several times. The above photos are from some of our visits there.
So back to the question - why Logan Pass? It is because this is not just a business to me, it is personal, it is founded on a passion to do something different and better, and it is about the experience, the journey and the relationships.
